Blackford Bridge

This Model was originally one of the Heywood Model Railway Group's "00" gauge exhibition pieces and as such made many visits on the exhibition circuit.

It has now been retired and Paul has purchased it with a view to using it as part of a "Garage layout" for his own use.

Blackford Bridge was a 4mm Finescale layout Inspired by the Border Counties. Now owned by Paul Hartley who was the Secretary of the Heywood Model Railway Group for a few years and will form part of his own layout at home.

Total size of the layout was 20ft x 3ft including the fiddle yards but Pauls plans are to do away with these end fiddle yard sections and create a full continuous loop round his garage with storage sidings as part of this circuit.
